This week marked a whole year since Covid forced us to shut down our ski holiday operations on the slopes in Poland, coincidentally in our 13th year, unlucky for some as they say. 365 days (and counting) of no skiing and sadly no guests allowed to travel for holidays. Whilst there are still a few weeks of the current ski season left in Zakopane and Bialka, where we would usually be enjoying spring skiing and wrapping up winter operations, we are not able to do that so we are ready to look forward and start the countdown for next winter instead.
Thankfully as a long-established ski holiday company, White Side Holidays Poland have found many ways around dealing with a whole year without business and we are now excited and as ready as ever to start planning for winter 2021 – 2022. We can’t wait to get guests back over to Poland to enjoy the skiing, the food, the scenery and all the fun and laughter that goes along with it.
Poland has opened ski areas in the last couple of weeks, with facemasks and restrictions of course, so some of our team in Poland have been out enjoying the snow and at least enjoying a taste of what we have missed out on over these last few months. With the vaccine roll out in the UK going brilliantly and 9 months until the start of next winter, surely now is the time to be optimistic that we are on track to get back to business come opening day in December. If you want to be out skiing and snowboarding next winter in Poland then feel free to start e-mailing your enquiries through about our different holiday packages and let’s all look forward to more travel and fun with friends and family soon!
